Ozubnicová lokomotiva 404

The locomotives were delivered in 1901 by the locomotive factory in Floridsdorf, they were three locomotives of the Abt system. After the First World War, the locomotives were transferred to the ČSD, which renamed them to the 404.0 series. During the Second World War, 97 601-603 were marked by German Reich Railways. The locomotives remained in service on their home line until the early 1960s. They were then replaced by rack and pinion motor locomotives. Locomotive 404.003 reached its end of service in 1965 during track reconstruction. In 1977, it was repaired in Česká Lípa to displayable condition and handed over to the National Technical Museum.
