LT vz. 38 was a light tank of Czechoslovak design taken over by the Wehrmacht after the occupation of Czechoslovakia in 1939 and used by it during World War II. In 1939 it was considered one of the best light tanks in the world. However, due to the rapid development of armored technology during the war years, it became obsolete quite quickly.
